Swoogo, the next generation event management software from first generation event software founders, has joined the Collection of services, apps and software on The Event Guys new iPaaS (integration platform as a service). Powered by Built.io, the iPaaS replaces traditional and confusing point-to-point integrations with efficient hub/spoke data mapping.

By joining The Event Guys iPaaS platform, users now have the ability to integrate Swoogo with hundreds of business applications, including CRM platforms (like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), marketing automation systems (like Marketo, Hubspot, and Mailchimp), productivity suites (like Google), and project management tools (like Basecamp, Trello, and Wrike).

“Our goal in recruiting Swoogo to join our iPaaS Collection was to bring the right partners to build a “Best of Breed” technology stack for the meetings industry” said Eric Kingstad, CEO of The Event Guys. “Organizers are looking to move away from tired old legacy systems, and the Built Flow platform will allow them to work with the systems of their choice. In the end, technology stacks comprised of dynamic and innovative apps like Swoogo will run circles around the systems that try to do it all.”

Founded in 2015 by Tim Cummins and Leonora Valvo, Swoogo is event software’s newest contender, featuring the robust features of industry heavyweights rolled into an easy to use, frustration-free platform. The Swoogo team leverages their deep industry knowledge (that came from their previous work as the founders of eTouches) with a keen sense of humor and customer-centric focus.

Leonora says that “the future of technology ecosystems is leading edge software connected through iPaaS. Swoogo is proud to be leading the charge in event tech. We are forging the trail for “Bring your Own Software” to the event industry”.

Built.io Flow is a new kind of integration platform for connecting separate systems of many kinds, ranging from cloud-based services to legacy IT systems. Its drag-and-drop, icon-based UI is simple enough that business managers can connect a couple of applications. In addition, the Flow cloud integration platform also serves veteran software developers and architects who create sophisticated integrations between extremely different systems.

The Event Guys is a consulting group formed in 2010 that specializes in meeting and event technology integration. In February 2016, The Event Guys launched the EventTechGuide Marketplace, a resource for meeting planners that makes it easier to discover, compare and purchase technology for meetings and events.
