EverdreamSoft Development Update: September-October 2020
As some of you may know, EverdreamSoft (EDS)is the company and the team behind the products you like: Spells of Genesis, Casa Tookan Wallet, Orb Explorer and all the other products from EverdreamSoft Crystal Suite.
Spells of Genesis is also one of the first clients of the blockchain tools contained in EDS Crystal Suite. Both being quite closely linked, from now on you’ll be receiving regular updates about all the progress we’ve made, regardless of the product.
We decided to keep you informed on a monthly basis (this first update being a bit special), bringing you updates about all the products in our portfolio, but also about what happened behind the scenes.
Blockchainization
Blockchainization is a Spells of Genesis unique feature allowing you to transform your in-game cards into standalone, tradable blockchain assets. Only cards upgraded on their highest evolution can be blockchainized.
When you blockchainize a card, you can choose which blockchain you wish to receive your card on. This is allowed thanks to the usage of “First oasis”.

Casa Tookan Wallet Improvements
We are working on a deeper integration between Casa Tookan Wallet and Crystal Spark modules.
We are removing the third-party service currently in charge of querying the blockchain information and sending it to Casa Tookan. A server failure of this service is behind the issues you’ve been encountering recently in CT (an “http error” at launch, balances not loading…).
The above modifications will result in a more reliable application with no more http errors and a deeper integration between different tools contained in EDS Crystal Suite.
CS Cannon
The deeper integration between CTW and Crystal Spark consists in usage of two Crystal Spark modules.
CS Cannon is designed to read ORBs (NFTs) balances and transactions. CS Cannon unifies blockchain “protocol languages” to have a common way of defining the relationship between a token (a blockchain element) and an asset (a collectible art).
CSCannon is heavily used by OrbExplorer to display collections and collectible balances. It is also integrated with Spells of Genesis to allow the game to recognize players’ cards across multiple blockchains.
For Casa Tookan we are now working on new features to take account not only the balances and transaction of collectibles (ORBs), but of currencies as well, such as BTC and ETH.
CS Notary
CS Notary, a module in charge of writing on different blockchains, i.e. creating transactions. CS Notary has been developed so far to enable blockchainization, to distribute collectibles on multiple blockchains, or to withdraw a token from one chain to another.
Currently we are building CS Notary as a webservice to be used by CTW, and by anyone in the near future.
An important piece that is beeing implemented is the ability to make transfers not only of ORBs (ERC-721, ERC-20, Counterparty tokens) but also ETH and BTC.
An updated release of Casa Tookan Wallet, with CS Notary and CS Cannon implementation, as well as some other small fixes is expected in December 2020!
BitCrystals Burn
Every month we burn BitCrystals worth 50% of our sales revenue and we publish a Burn Report.
By burning BitCrystals, its total amount keeps decreasing and thus its scarcity increases.
