Meet EverDrive
With more than 3 billion miles logged through EverDrive as of July 2019, drivers recorded enough miles to travel from the Earth to the Moon and back about 6,300 times. And with an average of 6% of trip time spent on the phone that means more than 180 million miles were spent on the phone.
EverDrive’s goal is to help you decrease distracted and dangerous driving. To support this, the EverDrive app gives you feedback on driving skills and offers potential savings on car insurance to safe drivers.

What is EverDrive?
EverDrive is a safe-driving app. The EverDrive app runs in the background of your phone so that it can automatically record and score your trips whenever you hop into a car and drive. After the trip it will give you feedback on your driving skills to help you become an even better driver. And if you live in a qualifying state, your safe-driving habits can even help you get a discount on car insurance.
Here’s a list of all the qualifying states:
Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and more coming soon!
How does EverDrive work?
The EverDrive app uses technology in smartphones to measure driving behavior. It can tell when a drive starts and ends, how fast you’re going, how hard you’re turning, etc. After your drive, the app will compute a score out of 100 based on the last two weeks of trips driven. Here are the factors that affect the score:
- Acceleration
- Braking
- Cornering
- Overall Speed
- Phone Use
Who can use/benefit from using EverDrive?
If you live in the U.S. and own a smartphone — iOS 10.0 or later or Android 5.0 and up — you can download and start using EverDrive right now. All drivers can potentially benefit from using EverDrive. Being a safer driver means you, your family and everyone else on the road will be safer.
