Last week Everstake initiated an ICX Give Away Campaign to celebrate surpassing the magic number of 1000 unique delegators on the ICON Network.
Our team is currently ranking 12th with more than 6.5 million votes. We are very proud and thankful to be an ICON Network validator and we will continue to do our best to help support and grow the ICON Ecosystem.
In order to thank our supporters and the whole ICON Community we gave away a total of 500 ICX over a 2-week period.
We used 3 of our Twitter accounts and several different give away methods:
- Raffles — Random draw of lucky winners (6 X 50 ICX)

The idea behind the campaign was to reward loyal supporters, followers and true believers in our team and the whole ICON Network. We also think that Give Aways are a great tool to spread awareness about the ICON Project and grow social media engagement, traffic and on-chain metrics. At the same time they have an educational effect and increase the adoption of ICX. By requiring an ICON wallet in order to participate in the raffle or claim the gift cards it teaches the participants how to properly setup and use a crypto wallet.
We also want to give out a big shoutout to Reliant Node, the creators of Marvelous Gift Cards, which helped us to play with QR-Codes, Quizzes and Puzzles.
In our opinion the Campaign was a success and we will keep on using Give Aways to incentivize our supporters.
