Step 1: How to Set Up Trust Wallet
Trust Wallet is one of the most advanced cryptocurrency wallets on the market. It allows staking on mobile platforms. The app is available on iOS and Android.
After installing the application, generate a seed-phrase and set a password.
Confirm and save your seed-phrase.
Step 2: How to Stake Cosmos (ATOM) via Trust Wallet
After saving the mnemonic phrase, you can continue by adding Cosmos to your list of cryptocurrencies in the app. Just write “Cosmos” in the search bar and add it by dragging the slider.
Cosmos requires at least 1 ATOM to host. Keep in mind the additional fees you have to cover.
Tap on the ‘Cosmos’ to add a token in the list.
Tap the ‘More’ button and push ‘Stake’.
Please select ‘Everstake’ as your main service by tapping ‘Validators’.
Confirm the operation to be performed. Wait about 60 minutes for your transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain. The staked cryptocurrency will appear in the Cosmos menu.
To unlock staked ATOM and change the validator, the network will release your tokens 21 days after the initialization of this operation.
