Cosmoscan MVP. Cosmos data and statistics explorer
Since the very launch of Cosmoshub last year, it’s been lacking a tool providing onchain data and statistics. We at Everstake collect a lot of data for our internal purposes and had always wanted to put it to good use and build a something around it. Finally, these factors paired with the support from ICF have led to the creation of Cosmoscan, the first Cosmos explorer that’s focused solely on providing statistics.Today we are happy to share it with the community - https://cosmoscan.net/
Please note that Cosmoscan is still in a very early stage of development and many things are still being implemented. We are going to provide regular updates on our progress and your feedback is always appreciated.
So, what have we built exactly.
Homepage
Homepage provides a dashboard with information about price, circulation supply, marketcap, voting power of top-20 validators, etc. Note that both circulation supply is calculated including the Atom bonded in delegations.
We also have 2 charts: volume of all transfers and the fees collected within the hub.
Network stats
Network stats page provides overall data on the various events and activities like: total bonded Atom, network size, number of big and small accounts and much more. Note that right now we provide the data only for the past 2 days. In the future we’re planning to include the all the historical data from cosmoshub-3 as well as the the data from the previous ones.
Network charts
This one provides a visual representation of the data from the hub and includes such things as number of blocks, validators, delegations, undongins, etc. All these times can be sorted by day/week/month. So far there are only 6 charts there but we’ll be adding more pretty soon.
What’s next
Our next step is to cover the governance part and provide an overview of participation rates, validator and delegator activity, the most and the least successful proposals, etc. So, stay tuned.
