The last Tezos Babylon network update has brought essential improvements to the consensus algorithm, smart-contract functionality, and the governance mechanism. But any update requires some time to fix issues that many users have experienced during these days. Our team wanted to clarify this situation by answering the frequent questions regarding some issues after the update.

Q: Can’t send TEZ using TezBox, Magnum, or Galleon. How to resolve this issue?
A: In case you run into this issue, please update your wallet to the latest version available, and after the update, the sending function should become operational.

Q: I have an error when moving my TEZ from KT to TZ and from KT to KT with available balances that can cover up fees, and nothing works. What to do in this case?
A: The Babylon update affected desktop/mobile wallets across a variety of different platforms, so to resolve this issue, simply update your wallet to the latest version.

Q: Such wallets as TezBox, Magnum, Galleon, SimpleStaking don’t work with Trezor, even though I updated them.
A: Recently, Trezor has announced that this problem will be fixed in the next firmware update that is planned to be released on November 6, 2019.

Q: Can’t transfer TEZ using Ledger Nano S.
A: The Ledger Nano S will work fine if you update your wallet to the latest version. Please note, that you should also have some TEZ on the main TZ account to cover up fees.

Q: Can’t make transfers even though all software is up-to-date.
A: If you want to send your TEZ from KT account to TZ, the latter should have a minimum of 0.002 TEZ on balance, so that you can cover network fees.

Everstake is ready to back you up in case you don’t have 0.002 TEZ on balance, simply hit our support at inbox@everstake.one and we’ll be happy to help you.

Q: If KT addresses are not used anymore, then what to do next if I have delegated TEZ from them?
A: There’s nothing to worry about if you don’t want to change your baker, still, you will be getting your delegation rewards as usual. Moreover, there’s no need to transfer delegated TEZ from KT to TZ wallets for redelegation, because there is no timeframe to move funds off the KT.
