The past couple of years brought a lot of uncertainty, change, and challenges due to the pandemic but we sailed through it together and stronger. At Everwell, we ensured that we remain connected and feel supported through our various initiatives and benefits such as emergency leaves, vaccination support, flexible work hours, health and wellness support, no disruption days (EverWELLness days), virtual engagements, leadership sessions, etc. It became clearer that no matter where we are we will continue to collaborate and solve the problems at hand to create a sustainable impact.

However, as things became more under control and we all got double vaccinated there were discussions around office opening. Through multiple surveys, connects and discussions, we realized that some employees were longing to work in our vibrant office space and looking forward to in-person meetings and celebrations. Yet many of us wished to continue working from home for a couple of days a week, spending time in another city for part of the year, or even move there permanently. So, to support the need for flexibility, choice, and everyone’s working preferences, Everwell came up with the ‘Work from Anywhere’ workspace model. The intent is to allow people to work where they feel most productive and comfortable.

With the ‘work from anywhere’ workspace model, employees have been enjoying the best of all worlds — coming to the office once in a while for team bonding, brainstorming, and celebrations within the safety protocols and/or connecting virtually from the comforts of their home. At Everwell, we also understand that those who chose to be remotely working should not feel left out and so we continue to have focused virtual engagement activities, health and wellness initiatives, connects through various channels, etc.

This working model helped employees to align their working styles with the choice of working space, and also gave them the flexibility to manage work-life balance and lower their stress levels. For Everwell the focus has always been the safety of the employees and support for their physical and mental well-being. This option of voluntarily choosing the workspace has surely contributed to that. It has increased engagement levels and productivity by breaking the monotony and giving fresh perspectives to continue to come up with more innovative impactful solutions.
