I met Kim Graham-Nye, one of the founders of gDiapers, last fall at Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women Conference. This conference is predominantly comprised of women CEO’s, including many of the fifteen Fortune 500 female CEO’s. I attended this conference for the first time hoping to share the Every Mother Counts mission with some of these influential ladies and make a connection and as it turns out, I made several.

Kim came to a breakfast chat where I spoke to learn more about Every Mother Counts, and we have since stayed in touch. She and her husband, Jason, came to New York the following month and we met up and have considered them friends ever since. They supported Team EMC in the 2011 New York City ING Marathon back home in Oregon by running a 5k in solidarity. Jason has also sported EMC colors all over the world and was one of the first people to join the team for the upcoming 2012 NYC ING Marathon.

Jason and Kim in Oregon, Sydney, Paris, London and NYC.

Jason stopped by the office the other week while in NYC to discuss a future EMC/gDiapers collaboration and we filmed this video together to support his NYC effort.

gDiapers is exactly the kind of brand we like to partner with. Their community and ours are like-minded and recognize the importance of the continuum of care. Healthy mommy, healthy baby, happy family. We look forward to finding more ways to bring our communities together and are so happy to have such enthusiastic partners like Kim and Jason!
