It’s as easy as downloading the app and selecting Every Mother Counts as the charity you’re supporting before you head out for a run. With that action, you’ll have helped us get closer to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for all moms.

Charity Miles is asking all its users to walk, run or bike for Every Mother Counts between now and Thanksgiving to kick-off this season of gratitude. As many of you know, EMC traveled this week to Uganda to better understand the barriers to care that mothers face in the developing world. Charity Miles is calling on people to support mothers around the world and to give thanks to the healthy mothers in their lives by doing a 5K, the average distance a pregnant woman in the developing world needs to travel to access care when she is in labor.
