Additionally, 100% of our smart contract code base was testable compared to the industry average 95%, ensuring there are no issues with the logic or implementation of the contract at this time.
What does Hosho look for?
Hosho’s audit ensures the following about the smart contract:
- Implements and adheres to existing ERC-20 Token standards appropriately and effectively
- Has documentation and code comments that match logic and behavior
- Distributes tokens in a manner that matches calculations
- Follows best practices in efficient use of gas, without unnecessary waste
- Uses methods safe from reentrance attacks

How does Hosho perform the audit?
The Hosho team follows best practices and industry-standard techniques to verify the implementation of our contract. To do so, the code is reviewed line-by-line by their team of expert pentesters and smart contract developers, documenting any issues.
Part of this work includes writing a unit test suite using the Meadow testing framework. Their strategies consist largely of manual collaboration between multiple team members at each stage of the review:
- Due diligence in assessing the overall code quality of the codebase.
- Cross-comparison with other, similar smart contracts by industry leaders.
- Testing contract logic against common and uncommon attack vectors.
- Thorough, manual review of the codebase, line-by-line.
