Next Time You Meet Someone Successful, Remember This
We think people who soar in society have it all sorted out. We think they have success on autopilot. But the truth is: they’re as scared as everyone else. They’re figuring it out on the fly. It’s why so many successful people feel imposter syndrome, which is the phenomenon of feeling unworthy of great accomplishment. They feel this way more as they soar. They secretly wonder how they keep flying and who gave them permission. We wonder similar thoughts but may never leave the ground. We think successful people feel differently. But they don’t. They’re only better off because they made a decision to take off. We have the power to make that decision, too.
