The Magic Of A Resonating Chamber

Making new friends, finding resonance, and vibrating together is one of the coolest ways to make new magic. Rock bands and internet conglomerates have all essentially been created in garages by spiritual beings vibrating inside of human meat sacks, having been gestated by other meat sack spritual beings. This study of vibrational phenomena is known as cymatics. When you start to think of large crowds in terms of cymatics, things really begin to get interesting.

Part of the painful aspect of silencing certain facets of your existence, is that you must try to be able to resonate with others without certain tones that are necessary to convey the message. It is like trying to play a chord in the key of D, but without the D. Perhaps at its best it would be harmonic, but it would always be missing a key component (pun intended).

So, as I embarked on my process of tuning my instruments of expression to include the missing keys, I found some really interesting people playing with vibration and resonance along the way. One of them works with cymatics, to vibrate liquids inside of a chamber at different resonant frequencies. He also does some “scrying” work in the liquid, to read what it is “telling” him as he takes pictures of the different vibrational resonancies and their effects on the medium.

As my friend Shawn said so poignantly the other day, “With every curve, a line is hidden. One is physical reality, the other is ethereal intention…consciousness.”

As I was working deeply on my own spiritual path, he posted a picture that had a clear vibration of the sigil that I had been working with. He superimposed a picture of the sigil onto the picture he had taken. It was fascinating. He told me he saw butterflies and dandelion seeds in the sigil. I was on Fire Island, and had just blown a birthday wish onto a dandelion. The monarchs were on their late summer migrational path.

I think about water and all the resonance that can be picked up in the waves. How we are all spiritual beings essentially holding giant vessels of water. If my new friend I have never met can pick up on my vibration across the country, who else can?
