September 17 — Everyday, It’s Something

The one where I try to get home

I flew back to Oregon with plans of getting an Uber to go home.

Rates are usually around $50 but today, on a Friday afternoon, it was over $100. I wasn’t going to pay that for an Uber. But I was already at the airport and having a friend pick me up probably wouldn’t work out either (rush hour traffic). I downloaded Lyft, $95, nope.

And then I thought… public transit! I paid $2.50 and got a transit pass. Hopped on the train and headed through the city. I went…
