So here’s the thing…

You cannot predict or control how a person will react to your words and/or actions.

Also, actions have consequences.

I’ll use myself as an example. In this scenario pretend that I’m a multi-billionaire and have been named over and over again by many sources as the wealthiest black chick on the planet!

Don’t leave! I said just pretend.

So…

I’m the wealthiest black chick on the planet, and I float the idea of buying a popular social media platform that is also a publicly-traded company just to see how my millions and millions of admirers will react.

I mean…

I’m not necessarily totally serious about it, but I just wanna see what happens, right?!

Then imagine you sit on the board of this social media company, which means you own stock in said social media platform, right?!

Okay…

I’m trying to get a rise out of my many millions of followers — you know, just messin’ around seeing how I can influence the stock market with my online influence — so I throw out this crazy, ridiculous figure, like, say…
