It turns out that there is a huge difference in the approach to finding photographs between designers who are perfectionists, and those designers who do not suffer from perfectionism.

Perfectionists spend from 4 hours to 2 days trying to find an ideal picture. If they do not find anything, they would rather organize a photo shoot than agree to a non-ideal photo from image sites.

Non-perfectionists spend from 20 minutes to 2 hours to find a suitable photo. If they do not find an ideal one, they’ll use more or less suitable analogs in the project and go further.

In both cases, the customer remains satisfied with the result and often even pays the same. But the time and effort expenditure on the search for perfectionists is just enormous!

Hence the question: is the perfectionism worth such victims?

It would be great to know your opinion. We are sure that there are many designers here that will have something to say :)
