EveryTeam brings extensive individual experience creating high-engagement consumer products at companies including Twitter, Pinterest, Living Social, Rdio and the NFL. We’re pairing that consumer sensibility with our experience helping enterprise customers at GitHub. At GitHub, many of our customers requested a wiki that would help them collaborate with teams across the organization. While this seems like a straightforward problem to solve, we saw that there is a greater, unmet need that requires a new and modern solution.

Meaningful engagement requires a low-friction experience.

With the EveryTeam repository, we’re bringing the sensibilities of consumer engagement to enterprise activity. Meaningful engagement requires a low-friction experience, and we’re focused on building a product that habituates readership, maintenance and meaningful interactions. What GitHub has done so well on a vertical basis — for engineering teams — EveryTeam is now doing horizontally, delivering the benefits of open collaboration to every team.

Share content across every team.

We recognize that work habits and tools vary from team to team, so we’re meeting teams where they are. We’ve created a repository that integrates the shared content that spans across the platforms and tools teams already use — from GitHub documentation, Google Drive docs, Figma designs and more — with an added layer of tools that make it easy to find, edit and update shared content.

A valuable home-base increases productivity.

EveryTeam amplifies engagement by focusing on clear documentation of maintainership, review schedules and subscriptions to collections to promote workflows that ensure reliability, transparency and accountability. Team collections are customizable, so individuals and teams can curate content that is important to them — and manage permissions to allow others across the team and the company to engage with it as appropriate. The EveryTeam activity feed and tasks list serves as a home-base for daily productivity, creating engagement and transparency for individuals inside of every team.

The feedback we get from our early pilot customers is that individuals like to start their day by checking EveryTeam for assignments, to-dos, and review requests. Throughout the day, our notifications keep them engaged and in-the-know about what’s happening with relevant content, including meaningful interactions with coworkers through in-line commenting, content updates and many other features.

EveryTeam’s mission is to create trust and accountability within every team. We’re looking for 50 select customers to join EveryTeam! Sign up at www.everyteam.co.
