The tools a company uses create its culture. Tools establish and reinforce the systems, shared beliefs and behaviors that unify teams. At EveryTeam, we believe it’s time to rebuild the way teams organize shared content. We’re focusing on the same principles that made GitHub the go-to collaborative workspace for engineering teams, with a repository that extends across every team’s content.

EveryTeam was founded by a team who draw inspiration from our previous experience working with developers at GitHub. We recognize that work in today’s companies happens through a host of tools, and across many services and different applications. To meet the needs of teams today, we’ve built a flexible repository that makes it easy for teams to edit and organize content where the work is already happening. We meet teams where they are and empower them to connect shared content across their organization. From GitHub to Google Docs, EveryTeam connects the various teams that make up your organization to get everyone on the same page.

The primary shared drive and knowledge base tools that teams currently use prevent positive collaboration. Too much time is spent trying to find a shared document inside a list of files. Too often the best way of searching your company’s most important information is by hoping you can remember the title of an email you received months or even years ago. And, once you finally find the information you think you need, you have no idea if you can trust it, or if you have just found an entrance to an unending maze of file storage. Additionally, if you want to make changes, you have no idea how to do it, or if you are allowed to, which leads to 🤷and 🤯.

Our early customers tell us that EveryTeam quickly becomes the central hub their teams lean on every day for figuring out what they need to know, what they need to do, who they are working with, and why it matters. EveryTeam allows teams to grow with purpose — as tasks change and content is updated and revised, EveryTeam provides a reliable and ongoing source of truth.

EveryTeam is founded on the belief that work can — and should — be trustworthy, reliable and create accountability. Transparency can increase awareness, but if the means to access shared content are full of friction, the value of transparency is lost. We understand how people act and interact, and our software amplifies every team’s strengths. Content consumption is key, and we know success within teams comes from inspiring action and instilling trust, every day. When team members feel informed about the bigger picture, they are encouraged to contribute every day. It’s a powerful idea put into action.

Our mission is to create trust and accountability within every team. Early feedback from customers is that we’re doing just that, and we are now looking for 50 additional teams to join us as we deliver on the promise of collaboration.
