Doncic vs. Trae Young through one month

Like Markelle Fultz and Jayson Tatum we will associate Doncic and Trae Young for the rest of there careers. Through one month both teams have seemingly won the trade. It is clear that Doncic is prepared to take over the Mavericks offense because he is already leading the team in scoring and second on the team in assists. Doncic being 6'7 demands the attention of a bigger defender but having the skills of a crafty guard creates serious matchup problems for the opposing teams. Doncic has looked to be more efficient than Trae Young. All though Trae Young has no filter on what range he can score from. The question becomes if Trae can become a more efficient scorer. Youngs 3 point shot has been streaky at best but he still manages to score in volume by change of speed and crafty ball handling. Trae seems to be in the perfect position with the Hawks because he is allowed to be the primary ball handler and he has minutes to develop his game on the court. Once Trae has some more support player to take the pressure of him, it will be the real test if he can score with less touches. As with both players have a positive outlook on what they have done and what they can do, it will be interesting to see the rest of there careers play out.
