A Theory of Heaven and Hell 16

Everything Comes

--

There is a second inference

As vital as the first

It is about the difference

Between the best and worst

2

My friend is as cantankerous

As ever he might be

But heaven doesn’t make a fuss

The unified are free

3

Unity is free control

It need not be perfection

A person can be good and whole

And still decide direction

4

In other words some slack gets cut

Just as this earth allows

We can say no if and and but

We do not have to bow

5

But we can be our best selves there

As we might be on earth

Not saints but able yet to care

And not deny our worth

6

Heaven seeks earth’s finished state

And celebrates our lives

Heaven grieves our ills and fates

When rampant evil thrives

7

We are the crown of creation

We struggle to be free

And we are meant to struggle on

And be blessed as we see
