Remember honor courage and prudence
A single value trumps all these at core
A way of life that’s based on common sense
The value is called non-idolatry
It means there is no god upon this earth
It means we accept mystery
Choosing things to which we give most worth

Best let proved values light the way
Give tolerance and helpfulness their place
Let fairness and democracy hold sway
Seek truth and beauty try to live by grace
No matter what we call Reality
it is where we all live
Let us affirm then what we see
We only move ahead as we forgive
