Burning Bush — From Adventures of the Child Jesus
Ω
The men who gathered around the synagogue told stories and no one listened more intently, often hidden from view, than the child Jesus. One story in particular occupied his mind. The tale of Moses and the Burning Bush.
It was as plain as day to Jesus that, whoever the voice in the bush was, there was not the least interest in letting Moses in on the identity of the speaker. As far as Jesus was concerned, whoever the voice was was not merely reality but the actual one who knew what reality, the creation, was. He knew how it worked and where it was going.
