BEING MATERIAL

Being material is the highest honor heaven can confer

Each journey here is celebrated as the best of things

Such things as meeting unmet challenges

Such things as making up for past misdeeds

Being material is a sign of bravery

+

When things go wrong it could be may things

It could be freedom going awry

Repeating wrongs we know are still quite wrong

Not meeting challenges we were supposed to face

+

To meet these challenges is never out of place

I said the highest honor — that’s reserved to God

But Gods exists in everyone

Without materiality creation is quite meaningless

Without such ground there is no ground to break

And without freedom there’s no sense to make
