David Rockefeller thought

he could think better than the rest of us

He wouldn’t put it that way but

that’s the sad way that it was

He chose our leaders, influenced them

but everybody has blind spots

That’s why we had democracy

until it fell to several plots

Like closing eyes to UFOs

and hiding new technologies

Sadly they’re still under wraps

But David’s offspring lives in ease

I know the drill, I have been there

I won’t say I’ve seen everything

We’re fallible, and that’s a fact

That’s why democracy I sing

David is in heaven now

Cognizant of all his deeds

Working hard to rectify

the wrongness to which much wealth leads
