History should be
cut in half
Give future
equal time
The history
we speak of is a
cautionary tale
It merely asks us
to consider
all the ways we fail

The study of the future
opens up a youthful mind
It tells us to take up
the costs
of leaving past behind
By planning for a future
that is better than we’ve known
We progress with the cosmos
on our way to where we go

Our mind is a plethora
of possibilities
When we say we knew it
it is true
We should not be surprised

Fewer things
more freedom
Possess what you can see
The less you own
the greater liberty

Characterization is
the bane of thought
Characterization
fixes things in time
Characterization
is always a lie
Allow your subjects room to change
Do not characterize
