Following Flynn
This note was published just now in the NYT.
Well we have whatever Flynn reveals. If it reaches Presidential criminality we have impeachment. Even it it doesn’t impeachment will be the talk for three weeks or so.
I have heard little talk about how silly security stuff is from either side of the aisle. We need to rewrite it to confine it to talk that involves crossing the line into harmful actions. No action should be harmful but that surely is the only reason for secrecy. Ideally secrecy is only good if you are fighting Germany in WW2 Since then it has been largely charade.
Beyond these two issues there is still the need to actually do a few positive things and I see little interest or movement in that direction by anyone, so I am settling in for more gridlock, more stasis and the Impeachment Show.
