Gay Blades EXERPT

Contents

On Kindle

Adam headed to Gay Blades for some roller skating. He had already arranged it with Jack and Viola.

Jack and Viola were the latest in a succession of servants Mildred and Melchezedek Panflick engaged over the years to make their busy lives easier. Viola was small, attractive and quiet. Her husband Jack was big, speedy, handsome and loud. They lived in servant’s quarters in the basement of the Panflick’s apartment building on East 86th Street.

Jack was a good driver. He could push the family Plymouth from the Seventh Regiment Armory at Park and 66th all the way to 86th and make a right turn, without hitting a single red light. Viola could make a mean fried egg.
