It takes a little looking to see truth

You have to look past religion

The underlying values are quite plain

Even in the texts that we received

It takes a little looking inside us

Us is everyone beneath the sun

Each one of us is valued just the same

Contrary to what some have believed

Gospel truth is simple and profound

Just two more lines and this one will be done

Everyone is precious saved and loved

Finally there is no one to blame
