HIGHER SELF

Everybody has a higher self

Even those who seem most criminal

We can freely close the door to it

Perhaps these words can open it a bit

The door will never be completely closed

Whenever conscience registers it’s there

Conscience is the doorway to the good

When it’s open much is understood

We learn that we are consequential Souls

Everything we do has its effects

We can amend the past with present deeds

From there we can deal with our present needs

Our Higher Self lives in the Spirit zone

It’s our connection to what is Divine

It shows us how to be all we can be

And turns a dismal fate to destiny

You will ascend as your awareness grows
