I’M GLAD THAT

Glad that I lived when Bob Dylan did too

And that I knew every side of the tracks

And past all panics I cuddled three kids

And that it was the desert that helped me relax

I’m glad I still don’t know that much about life

But that I may know more than I did

Whatever it is life is sheer ecstasy

I am not just free but free as I can be

I’m glad I went through all of those divorce pains

And for every passing fancy I have ever known

And for this happy landing past all I dreamed

I’m glad the little boy I was is not what was grown

For now I’m not far from the limitless power

That enables love to do magical things

And that I can push with all others who push

And as doom is proclaimed just say Happy Landings
