Jesus ran up the incline to the place where he most often met Abba, to the solitude he loved.
“Now I am inside,” he said breathlessly. “You said I was inside.”
“Yes. You are facing a truth the world refuses to face. Only a few prophets see it.”
“What?”
“Justice,” Abba said. “Justice true and beautiful. You would not have looked for me in the first place if the world was just. The world wasn’t. The world isn’t. And it won’t be. Until —”
