Abba was right. Our memories are ambient. Sometimes they protect us. Jesus knew the trajectory of his life, but he did not dwell on it. Instead his childhood entered a time of deep learning none knew about but he and the one with whom he now conversed almost constantly.

There were two kinds of conversation.

An undercurrent where they would go back and forth as friends do, but with Abba more or less shoring Jesus up or narrating whatever was going on.
