There is no need for currency per se. We should be able to transact anything that adds to or diminishes our monetary worth in a literal twinkling of an eye. That information would be for us alone.
There need be no credit cards nor middle persons.
There need be no banks.
Each person should have several ways of enabling transactions.
The sooner we have no currency the better.
