Here is the beginning of a highly condensed work on Reality. It is the first five of some 24 segments. I do not feel that I fully understand this matter, only that it is an important philosophical step. Not having any philosophical credentials, I am not holding my breath for recognition. Having once had a measure of it, I am happily past it. The Kindle book: REALITY: My Philosophy $2.99 KU Prime http://tinyurl.com/zauaqsy

My Philosophy

INTRODUCTION

If I am remembered at all, it would be my delight that it be for a three word aphorism — Reality is all. That is the seed of my philosophy. I long ago pounded a wall to express my sense that there are too many truths, not too few. We can never know the whole of anything. Even down to the most miniscule or to whatever edge we say the cosmos may have today.

This book is centered on the term Reality. It’s contribution may well be to enable the reader to see things as a whole. And to live with that awareness. That is no small thing.

ONE

Reality is all, known and unknown. No one sees all reality. Reality evolves chronologically.

2

Reality’s facets are innumerable. Reality is gradually revealed. We are students of reality.

3

There is nothing that is not real. There is no unreality, save the use of “unreality” as a relative term, a rejection of what seems unimportant or irrelevant. The only important variation in what is real is its goodness or non-goodness.

4

We are the authors of both good and evil. Good and evil are poles of a spectrum. They are the poles of all human actions and expressions.

5

Einstein called reality a persistent illusion. He is wrong. The only basis for a move past suppositional theology to one of human responsibility for good and evil is to see that all is reality and use this term to describe a unity, not as half a binary.

6

The mystery close by is reality. The cosmos we can barely grasp is reality. The self we know and do not know is reality.

7

Ignorance is reality. Knowledge is reality. Divinity is reality.

TWO

The divine in every person is reality. Positive force is reality. Direction within the cosmos is reality.

2

Experience is reality. Everything that affects us is reality. Dreams are reality. Emotions and intuitions are reality.

3

Acting in concert is reality. Acting alone is reality. Choice is reality.

4

Asking is reality. Receiving is reality. Not giving is reality.

5

Spirituality is reality. Universality is reality. Capacity is reality.

6

Talent is reality. Generosity is reality. Effort is reality.

7

“Be all we can be” is reality. Accepting ourselves is reality. Blessing is reality.

THREE

Confidence is reality. The teachings of Jesus are reality. The stories of Jesus are reality.

2

Abba’s nature is reality. Giving is reality. Truth and beauty are reality.

3

Abba’s truth is reality. Abba’s beauty is reality. Truth and beauty are one reality.

4

Jesus is reality. One to whom we are to pray is reality. God experienced is reality. Direct experience is reality.

5

Direction is reality. Free choice is reality. Reality is us moving Abba’s way.

6

Reality is social. Reality is vague. Nature is reality.

7

The unnamable is reality. Philosophy is reality. Science is reality.

FOUR

Everything is reality. All is reality. “Nothing” is reality.

2

Phenomenology is reality. Classification is reality. Ethics is the analysis of reality.

3

Universal values challenge. Aesthetics creates reality. Reality fuses truth and beauty.

4

Existence is reality. Thinking is reality. One is reality.

5

The one who is is reality. The one in those with eyes to see is reality. Looking and seeing is reality.

6

Reality includes all creation. Reality includes all minds. Reality includes all thoughts.

7

Reality includes all images. Reality includes all sounds. Reality includes all senses.

FIVE

Reality includes all signs. Some reality is always beyond us. Much reality we never see.

2

Fallibility is reality. Perception is reality. Failure is reality.

3

A part is reality. Expertise is reality. Relativity is reality.

4

Significance is reality. We are each part of reality. Partnership is reality.

5

Authenticity is reality. Choice creates reality. Action creates reality.

6

Reality is that from which all flows. Reality is identical with the cosmos. Reality is identical with the universe.

7

Reality is more than anyone perceives. Reality humbles us. Reality is not a microcosm.
