NOT KNOWING

Not knowing is our universal state

Saying we do is always somewhat faith

Not knowing is a worthy admission

More honesty can rarely harbor harm

Not knowing is simply our state of being

Perceiving is our daily regimen

Observers we are not though we pretend

We do not stand outside of anything

We rather sense we are a part of all

It is a better guess than that we’re not

And so our state can be a peaceful calm

Whatever happens is what’s happening

And we have parts to play as we decide

It seems we’re never absent from the tide

Not knowing does not mean that we ignore

It means regardless there is always more
