The result of Jesus’ resolution to learn at the feet of Abba how he might follow Abba’s Way in the world when the time came, was an immersion in words he did not immediately understand. Words like obfuscation.

Jesus asked Abba why the simple message of repentance and forgiveness was not enough to change things and Abba asked Jesus: “Do you understand the word obfuscation?”

Jesus said no.
