Triadic philosophy is a universal way of living consciously. Triadic philosophy assumes we can choose the values we live by. Triadic philosophy assumes that we are masters of our lives. Triadic philosophy celebrates the power of free thinking. Triadic philosophy believes progress rises from our free decisions.

Triadic philosophy posits three stages of consciousness — reality, ethics and aesthetics. Reality is all that rises within and without. Ethics is universal values one can decide to embrace. Aesthetics is the active, experimental performance of living. Triadic living relates reality to ethics. Triadic living aims at truth and beauty.

Triadic philosophy sees tolerance, helpfulness and democracy as interactive, universal, ontological values that power progress. Triadic living sees non-idolatry as the root value. Non-idolatry underlies both scientific method and critical thinking. Triadic values are universal and real. History proves them out.

Triadic philosophy involves thinking of three things in order: 1 reality, 2 ethics and 3 aesthetics. Reality is anything that occupies the mind. Ethics is tolerance, helpfulness, democracy and non-idolatry. Aesthetics is an act that proceeds from the encounter of reality and ethics.

Triadic thinking involves setting aside time to think. The trigger is what rises in reality. Reality can be a feeling of any sort, an idea, an intuition, a person or event. Reality is anything compelling enough to warrant thought.

As one practices triadic thinking, the use of its terms becomes natural and flexible. Triadic thinking submits reality to ethics and the result of that encounter to aesthetics. Aesthetics is all human action that consciously desires truth and beauty.
