Has many varied forms

Deny fair wage salaries

To those whose work is most important

Add in trauma known daily

Consider our skewed norms

Heaven values EMTs

But Heaven’s values are ignored here

We savage equality

And Jesus’ teachings scorn

Heaven smiles on EMTs

As soul’s return from earth to their home

Most forget about all that

And Heaven’s ways ignore
