Reclaiming aesthetics

I think I must have a compulsion to confuse people

I am too old for a shrink

Anyway I have reasons

For example to title a humorous novella

as I have the novella above

is most likely a compelling reason to ignore the book

entirely

This is the basic condition of 100 or more books

I have up on Kindle

as part of an effort to eke out a bit of recognition

online

This is actually a sort homage to my late mother

who was indeed hard of hearing

and was indeed the very picture of someone for whom aesthetics

WAS all

It was important for things to be as she wished

and nature has ways of fulfilling this desire

a bit more than we do

Anyway I made this whole thing up

and concluded that my success would come

when someone laid this on one of the Coen brothers and they

saw a sort of Harold and Maud sequel

Something like that

But nothing of the sort has taken place

It sits up on Kindle with my other unsold books

waiting for the world to wrap its mind around

the realities of now
