Repentance — From The Adventures of The Child Jesus

Previously

Jesus was serious. Whatever it took to do what he was meant to do, whatever that was, he knew that he could find out exactly what he needed to know. Ask Abba.

It was amazing. Even if Jesus was flummoxed about a small thing, getting over-excited, not knowing what to do, feeling caught and in need of help, he could simply start a simple routine he had learned. He stopped. He thought of a few words. He asked Abba to help. Whatever agonized him was soon gone. Miraculously it seemed. Things now happened easily, simply, as a matter of course. It was the stopping that did it.

Jesus did not forget that he had decided to get down to some serious work, so on the hillside, he said: “Where do we begin, Abba? Where do we start?”
