The Enduring Confusion

Peirce said consciousness is feelings

Awakened folk swear this is Heaven’s Truth

And yet Heaven is both Heart and Mind Driven

Dividing heart and mind is fantasy

The answer’s clear to a Triadicist

Who knows all binaries are fantasies

Heart and mind are melded just as all is

Consciousness is never minus mind

That’s why conscious feeling is most rational

And conscious thoughts are pure lucidity

Divided houses fall like autumn leaves

Divided houses end up vanishing

And yet insistent voices stay opposed

As if Heaven despised the mind

The workings of the mind are hallowed there

The workings of the heart hallowed as well

Clarity sees heart and mind as one

The very cells of both protest it’s true

Disparaging either is binary

It’s time Awakened Souls start to agree
