The Half Death of Intellect

Intellect is now confronting a half-death

This has been accomplished by a multiplicity of factors

I welcome its end

Even intellects that I admire are too vastly tied to history

Intellect has gone as far as it can get

There is no gainsaying faced with superficial dispatching

Of universal values

The basis of our future are tolerance, helpfulness, and democracy

The conflict we are in is not over yet

What’s over is the binary declension that still dominates intelligence

It cannot wash

The values here presage a universe that might function intellectually
