The Past Is Being Thought into A Pulp

The past is being thought into a pulp

But if you want a retrospective gulp

Take war and add the Yellow Topped Revenge

Greed, cruelty, and shades of old Stonehenge

+

Thought is our focused attention

The fruit of our imagination

Thought considers, cogitates, concludes

Thought makes for conscious attitudes

+

We’re moving to an attitude of peace

Reason not nonsense, taking a new lease

Having time to see just who we are

And finding within light a shining star

+

Our exploration is continuous

No day sets a final way for us

We quickly learn that we are not alone

Yet at the same time we are all we own

+

The past is over, done, hardly germane

The future is what all our minds contain

If we think well, beyond all harm and fear

Consciousness will make good things appear
