“Remember first the poor, the hungry and those who mourn.” This sentence was engraved in Jesus’ memory. It is what Abba said when Jesus was told he would not be a preacher. Instead, he would overturn things. He would declare things done.

And with these declarations, they would be.

The poor.

The hungry.

Those who cry over death.

Those closest to conditions of … yes injustice.

“This is about justice, isn’t it, Abba?”

“Yes, son.”
