THERE IS A ROAD BACK

There is a road back if my story’s true

All our cliches about lost time are wrong

Our ongoing minds control where we can be

The road back’s just a thought we move along

We realize our lives are quite a show

And we, like empires, tend to rise and fall

We can explore how others did the same

We’ll set intention and send out a call

Yes, I’ve assumed we are all living Souls

And we are best advised to take control

And set our minds upon what interests us

In Heaven we can choose most any goal
