Our history is not of evolution

It is of spiritual decline

We celebrate accomplishments

But our achievements tend toward wrong

Spirituality is Universal Law

Not acceptance of every flaw

Money elicits our worship

Neighborliness gets short shrift

War prospers lethally

War cannot set us free

Communications blare and lie

Positivity is oft passed by

But this reality can be reversed

Idolatry need not be first

Progress is Spirit Momentum

A more discerning day can come

Choice is our Sovereign Soul’s weapon

To vanquish all temptation

The Universe hangs on this choice

We progress or ignore the Voice

Thiaoouba teaches: Be responsible

Care for the World as for yourself

Awake to your connection to the All

It binds all Souls who heed the call

Thiaoouba leads to happiness

Let us not settle for the less

Our history is burdensome

Yet we are Children of the One

And we can tip our Universe

And move back to the Home we’re from
