reflects reality not as
it has been but as
it can become as
individuals awaken to
their universal destiny
and consciously
embrace four
universal values
Tolerance
Tolerance is strength
to overcome
Tolerance is flexibility
Tolerance can cut and run
Tolerance can set us free
Tolerance is wise and strong
It can deftly hide its power
It can dance with enemies
and wait for its own hour
Tolerance defends the weak
and dies that we might live
And above the tawdry fray
tolerance forgives
Helpfulness
Helpfulness is universal love
Helpfulness is both
individual and social
It is the great commandment
known by most
Love your neighbor
Love your enemy
Reject the downcast logic
of the Fall
Helpfulness enables everyone
Helpfulness does things that
must be done
A lift
A needed truth conveyed
A voice that says
‘Don’t be afraid’
Helpfulness past charity gives
to all equally
No theft of dignity
Set people free
Democracy
Justice’s ground
Fairness
Equality for all
Democracy can’t be put down
It is our No to the Fall
