TV seems like one big side effect

If you take the sum of harms above, you have a sad index of real and present evil. We do not call these things evil in some contexts. But insofar as they do harm they are apposite. Not to acknowledge them is pure avoidance. They operate whether you know it or not. The conscious person knows that fallibility is universal. The conscious person shares what’s real and saving with all. The capacity to share is the revolutionary possibility within our growing universal connective capacity.
