Twitter Impressions Tell a Doleful Tale

If you have a Twitter account and send out a tweet you can “View Tweet Activity” and it will tell you the number of actual impressions a tweet has.

I am going to share this information on one tweet right now:

The impressions recorded were 747. I rarely receive more than 1700 impressions. With over 225K followers it makes the effort it takes to develop and maintain a Twitter operation at least questionable.

I honestly do not think Twitter cares about this. I would love to be proved wrong.

On these notices Twitter includes an ad promising a greater reach if I buy Twitter Ads.
