UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IS ALL THERE IS

I woke this morning aware work was not done

I cogitated through the undone work

It was the cleansing of the hidden, festering miasm — of unpurged hate

All of the times I failed to recognize it, observe it, reckon with it

These subconscious imbalances can cause mental illness and bodily agonies

These are the blocks we innocently create

I woke this morning to odd glimmers of the same in my now

But now I know just what I should have done

And what I shall do now

Just as it’s being done by true nonviolence everywhere

Face hate for what it is — all that divides and skewers

And say this, unafraid of any consequence:

All of us are in the same boat, the sturdy craft of Oneness

All of us hurt, harm, and fear and we receive the same

The only cure is to forgive daily — not just a few ,but all

And then to see the Light Love is as yours

In all the places where your life may be

+

But there’s a hitch, resistance, and non-recognition

It makes side-taking natural

And every side taken is resistance and blindness

Made unconscious by our urge to prevail

Love Power is the power to face it all

And facing it with understanding, freely to love all, barring none
